Miss World 2016: Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle takes the crown

Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss World 2016 on Sunday, edging out runners-up from the Dominican Republic and Indonesia winning the top prize in the 66th edition of the pageant held this year in the United States.
Del Valle, 19, is a brown-eyed brunette student who speaks Spanish, English and French, and hopes to get into the entertainment industry.
Crowned by Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna of Spain, Del Vallecalled it an "honor and a great responsibility" to represent her Caribbean homeland. She becomes the second titleholder from the island after Wilnelia Merced won the title in 1975.

Dreamworks, the movie studio headed by Steven Spielberg and other big media moguls, Television has signed cereal and snacks maker Kellogg's to create treats and goodies based on its movies. Under the agreement Kellogg's gets exclusive rights to make cereals and other tasty breakfast foods based on Dreamworks movies including Shrek 3 and Madagascar 2. Kellogg's will be responsible for promoting the foods, and therefore the movies, via in-store, TV and online ads. Kellogg's is just four years into what was supposed to be a 15-year agreement to do just this kind of thing for Disney but that deal's fate is now uncertain. Kellogg's is unlikely to create product for two movies from competing studios, after all. Sales of the Disney movie-themed snacks were moderate at best. Thousands to attend Campechada cultural festival in San Juan

Thousands of people will flock this weekend to Old San Juan, the historic colonial center of the Puerto Rican capital, to take part in activities of the 4th Campechada cultural and artistic festival. This year's event will be dedicated to Myrna Baez, 83, considered one of Puerto Rico's greatest painters and engravers. This is the first time the Campechada has spotlighted the life and works of a living artist, and also the first time it has featured a woman.
